the website looks pretty good, just a couple of points.. the drop menu on the left is half hidden (on my comp anyway), why a 4% charge for an e mail confirmation and what is a 'mixed couple' does that mean no same sex? is it allowed to discriminate?

Multilingual website

We too have just revamped our website to include the four main European languages and although the initial set-up cost, translation service, was fairly high we have already noticed a big difference with an increased number of hits per day and subsequent bookings (perhaps coincidentally) and thankfully none in their own language.

Even though each page is now multilingual we have not seen any reduction in the refresh speed, I think this is due to the way the website architecture has been written - a major point to consider when building this type of site.

Any comments would be very appreciated.

For a person using brroad-band, this would be no problem, but, like 10% of the UK population, we cannnot get broad-band, (and less than 50% are using it).  When I clicked on this site, it was a full minute before I could see anything at all.

It is good web-design practice to build enough information in the first few seconds, (at 28K baud), so that the user's attention is not lost.  Ideally you should put up a simple text menu and allow him to navigate towards the detail he needs without wasting any more time.

Hi

I use Mozilla Firefox and the part in the left colums is completely not readable.

It does also not work properly in Opera and Netscape (despite your assuring «Tested on Mozilla, Opera and M.S. I.E» only the Internet Explorer works properly.

Hope you find the way around to an otherwise excellent webpage with lots of information.
